Say yes to “the face” – the daunting stigma of aging
Women all across the world are confronted – with the daunting stigma aging possesses –
Research indicates that women typically begin to express concerns about
aging in their late 20s to early 30s. This is often triggered by the
appearance of first visible signs of aging such as fine lines or changes in skin texture.
In the last 5 years alone shows how over the course of time – the perspective
of society has changed: I listed a few down below
Dated from (2020-2025) show significant shifts in how women perspective
in how aging is approached:
- Digital Age Impact: Increased exposure to social media and filters has led to earlier awareness of aging signs, with women in their mid-20s now expressing concerns
- Holistic Approach: Modern women are focusing more on overall wellness rather than just external appearances, incorporating mental health and lifestyle changes
- Tech-Based Solutions: Growing interest in advanced skincare technology and non-invasive treatments at younger ages
- Stress Factors: Post-pandemic stress and increased screen time have contributed to accelerated aging concerns
Current attitudes toward aging (2025):
- Age-Positive Movement: Growing acceptance of natural aging processes and rejection of age-related stigma
- Preventive Focus: Emphasis on early prevention rather than correction, with women starting anti-aging routines earlier
- Work-Life Impact: Greater awareness of how work stress and environmental factors affect aging
By no means am I standing on my own soap box; by all means do you boo; It’s
you life and your body; the question is were does this fear of aging lives
women who are okay with the natural process of life – I myself has seen the
look on women faces – when I’ve discussed some of my chooses; one was
allowing my hair to tune gray – one of the liberating experiences if i may add.
I myself am a lotion and potion type of gal – with the economy as it is; this type
of mindset couldn’t have come a better time if you ask me; what do you think
women were using in the 1920’s? Rember there was no Sophora in those day;
women were pretty much on there on when it came to persevering there beauty.
Black women in the 1920s developed and used various beauty practices
and products, often creating their own solutions due to limited commercial
options: they created moisturizing treatments using natural ingredients
like: shea butter, aloe vera, and various plant extracts
Abouve are a few produces I’ve used or are similer to the
things I would use to help with soft glowing skin – provideing
me with a more smoother youthful appearance.
I belive: the beast way to deal with – “aging” is your mindset; though beauty
is in the eyes of the beholder – theres something to be said about a healthy
mindset ; you know the saying:
change your mind change your life!
THE END!
Peace, Love and Blessings Lovelies Xoxo.
