Reclame your health – change what you conume

When managing uterine fibroids, what you avoid eating can be just as important as what you include in your diet. Certain foods may contribute to inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and conditions that allow fibroids to thrive. Understanding these dietary triggers empowers you to make informed choices that support your body’s natural healing processes.

Breaking Free from Perfectionism: Embracing God’s Plan 🌟

Breaking Free from Perfectionism: Embracing God’s Plan 🌟

There is no doubt in my mind perfectionism is ranking at the top of the list—it saddens me when I think to myself there’s a person right now who will never get the chance to experience all of what God has to offer all because of that person’s inability to think positive about an outcome— It wasn’t until I found myself on my own journey of doing inner work over two decades ago that I was confronted with these adverse thoughts.

The Prison of Perfectionism 🔒

Perfectionism is a silent dream killer. It whispers lies with phrases like you don’t have what is takes or another lie like your not  good enough, A mindset like this has kept many people stuck, preventing them from stepping into the fullness of their purpose and experiencing the abundant life God has prepared for them.

When we’re trapped in perfectionism, we’re essentially telling God that His grace isn’t sufficient—that we need to be flawless before we can move forward. But that’s not how divine love works. Continue reading “Breaking Free from Perfectionism: Embracing God’s Plan 🌟”

Reclaiming Your Inner Goddess in Your Silver Years 🌸

Reclaiming Your Inner Goddess in Your Silver Years 🌸

This week I wanted to share a couple of things that I’ve been loving for the last cauple of month.  Now that I’m in my 50s, I’ve come to realize there are certain things that I no longer really turn to when it comes to fashion. Short shorts or short skirts haven’t been my vibe pretty much, for the most part at least (lol)—not because of age.

This winter  I’m looking forward to implementing more dresses and pencil skirts. Pencil skirts are so sexy; I love how they hug the hips and show off a woman’s shape, especially if you’re more of a pear shape like myself. It’s amazing how they look on the body. I’m 5’8″, so a pencil skirt has always been flattering on me. It’s an oldie but goodie. When I was working a physical job, I would wear these types of skirts most of the time.

Who Cares What They Say 💭

Who Cares What They Say 💭

Right now, people all over the world are anticipating the arrival of family and friends—whether it be a colleague or a long-lost friend. Many are worrying about whether or not to bring up certain conversations that may trigger an emotion for one person or the next. This is a form of emotional distress that unfortunately many people are dealing with today. The holidays have become a landmine for people’s emotionally unkept thoughts.

One would say the holiday is the best place to lay down those memories. Studies show that many people stop coming home for the holidays due to unwanted conversations—sad but true. This concept has isolated many people from family and friends. I know because I too was one of them, until I did this one thing that I will share with you.

The Simple Shift That Changed Everything ✨

One of the things I noticed was whenever it was time to meet or see someone I haven’t spoken to in a while, I would start to formulate conversations that I believed were judgmental from that person in our last conversation. Now whether the conversation was judgmental or not, it was still “up to me” on whether I decided to participate in that judgmental conversation.

See, it’s never about them—it’s always about you. Once I made this simple shift in my thought process, it was a game changer.

You Are the Main Character 🌟

Think about it: you are always the main character in your story—who cares what they think? It’s all about you. Once we realize people’s opinions are their own thoughts, we free ourselves from being captive in someone else’s opinion of us.

This way of thinking will not only free you from other people’s opinions, but you’ll also be able to enjoy those around you. Why? Because nine times out of ten, those thoughts you had about other people’s opinions were all in your head.

Keep Shining 💜

Keep shining and focus on what truly matters most, and my friend, that is you. Hugs 🤗

THE END!

What’s the Big Hype About Love? 💜

What’s the Big Hype About Love? 💜

As we speak, millions of people are running around making sure to get the right gift for people they really could care less about; putting up Christmas trees, involving themselves in activities they would normally say no to, setting up meal plans they know they will not keep up with. The question here is: why live a life you hate and don’t want any parts of?

The answer to this is one word—it’s called “Love.”

This one word has had men travel across the world just to rest their eyes upon that one person for just a couple of minutes; at least that’s what has been recounted in storybooks. So what is it that arises in a person that makes love so powerful?

The Science Behind Love 🧠

Studies have suggested that the brain releases endorphins when we engage in acts attached to loving something or someone. One would say it’s the act that produces love itself—while others would say otherwise due to the fact that a mother would lay down her life for her newborn child.

Is it the act, or is it the pain of not doing that act that would cause someone to sacrifice themselves for love? Either way, love is and will always be the most powerful thing.

Love: The Ultimate Driving Force ✨

After all, it was love that caused God to create the world; love was the main ingredient. It’s no wonder it’s the driving force behind it all.

The next time you find yourself embarking on a new adventure, think about what’s the motivation behind it—you’ll be surprised what you’ll find.

You’ve Always Had What It Takes ✨

You’ve Always Had What It Takes

What if I told you that you’ve always had what it takes to make your dreams come true?

When World War Two hit, women found themselves in a state of frantic uncertainty—not only because their loved ones were off to war, but because many were truly alone for the first time in their lives. With no men around to protect or provide in the way they were accustomed to, and with all resources redirected to the war effort, women were left with scraps of food and barely enough materials to get by.

But here’s what happened: women didn’t crumble. They rolled up their sleeves and got to work. They came together, created plans, kept households running, and even made supplies to send to soldiers—keeping them warm and fed on the front lines.

How to Stop Being Left Behind When Others Say You’re Too Old

Women across the world who find themselves in midlife are asking, “What’s the next chapter of my life going to look like?” These are usually the kind of women who are successful—those who were blessed to raise their kids while pursuing high-paying careers, or those who were fortunate enough to marry young and helped their spouses reach successful careers while they stayed home to take care of the kids. Three Reasons Why Homemade Chicken Soup is Good for You

  1. Boosts immune system and fights inflammation: Homemade chicken soup contains nutrients from the chicken bones, vegetables, and herbs that have anti-inflammatory properties. The amino acids released from bone broth, particularly cysteine, help thin mucus and support immune function, making it a powerful remedy during illness.
  2. Provides essential nutrients and hydration: Rich in vitamins (A, C, K), minerals (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus), collagen, and protein, homemade chicken soup nourishes your body at a cellular level. The warm broth also helps keep you hydrated, which is crucial for overall health and recovery from illness.
  3. Supports gut health and digestion: The gelatin and collagen from slow-cooked chicken bones help heal and seal the gut lining, promoting better digestion and nutrient absorption. This gut-healing property makes chicken soup especially beneficial for those with digestive issues or leaky gut syndrome.
