What Do You Do When Life Gives You Oranges? 🍊

Some people wake up and taste sour before their feet even hit the floor.

You ask, “How’s your day?” and they answer with what would make it better:

• “It would be better if I didn’t have to work today.”
• “It would be better if I didn’t have to get out of bed.”

And I get it. Life can be a lot.

But here’s the truth:

If you only look for what’s wrong, you will miss what’s right.

The “orange” moments are part of the recipe

Life is always going to hand you something you didn’t order.

Sometimes it’s small.

Like my cat shaking my door at 5 a.m. like they pay rent and run the household.

Would I love a peaceful morning without my cat being my second alarm?

Yes.

But if I’m honest… that little furry routine keeps me moving.

It keeps me on schedule.

And it reminds me that life is alive in this house.

If you’re living, you’re going to get curve balls

You can finally get the permission you’ve been waiting for… and then find out it’s on the other side of the world.

You can get approved for that contract to build your first home… and then it rains the day production is supposed to start.

That’s life.

And it doesn’t mean you’re cursed. It means you’re human.

Don’t let oranges make you bitter

Because if you don’t learn to work with what life hands you,

you start becoming the kind of person who is always searching for what could be better.

And eventually you forget how to enjoy what’s already here.
