Sometimes it feels like God forgot you.
Like you’ve been praying… and waiting… and watching other people get their “breakthrough” while you’re still in the same spot.
But what if God didn’t forget you—what if God is preparing you?
Because God will never give you something that blesses you on Monday and breaks you by Friday.
So when life gets tight, when the pressure goes up, when it feels like you’re being stretched—this is what I believe God is saying:
“I’m not punishing you. I’m expanding you.”
“I’m not delaying you. I’m developing you.”
“I’m making room in you for what you asked Me for.”
See, some gifts don’t just change your life.
They change your family.
They change your mindset.
They change the people connected to you.
And that kind of gift requires a bigger capacity.
That’s why many people quit right when they’re close.
They don’t quit because they’re weak.
They quit because the stretching feels like “something is wrong.”
But the stretching is often proof you’re near the next level.
Now you might say, “I’ve been in this thing a long time… and I still haven’t seen the full glory of God.”
But here’s the truth: the “glory” you imagine is only based on what you’ve seen before.
And what God has planned for you is bigger than your old picture.
That’s why Scripture tells us to give God the weight.
“Cast your cares on the Lord…” (1 Peter 5:7)
Because God already knows the next step—we’re the ones getting overwhelmed trying to play God.
Let’s bring this down to real life.
Sometimes we get off track—and then we have to start over.
It’s like a GPS: you miss a turn and it doesn’t yell, punish, or humiliate you. It simply says, “Re-routing.”
That’s how I see God.
When you mess up, get distracted, or make a choice that slows the process, God doesn’t cancel you—God corrects you.
But yes—every detour can come with a new lesson.
And sometimes that lesson adds time, not because God is mean, but because God is merciful.
God is making sure you don’t arrive unprepared.
So here’s the assignment:
- Stay faithful.
- Stay consistent.
- Stay the course.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to keep believing.
Because you were never meant to figure out all of life.
You were meant to walk with God through it.
So the next time you start questioning everything, remember this:
God has your back.
God is not late.
God is not confused.
And you are not forgotten.
You are exactly where you need to be—being shaped for what you prayed for.
