“It’s Not Too Late to Start Again”
Hi family—welcome back. I’m Elizabeth, and this is Elizabeth Magical Garden: Reaching for the Stars.
I’m genuinely happy you’re here, because today we’re going to talk about something we all need to remember—especially when life feels messy, delayed, or downright chaotic:
It’s not too late to start again.
Before we begin, grab your beverage of choice and get comfortable. Consider this your soft place to land—a faith-filled reset, not a lecture.
There are times when life shows up with what I can only call shenanigans. The kind that makes you think, “Really? Today?”
But here’s what I’ve learned: we don’t cancel the calling because the day gets complicated.
We pivot. We breathe. We show up anyway.
And maybe it’s perfect timing—because today carries that new moon energy: the energy of starting fresh, clearing the slate, and deciding again.
Let me tell you what happened a few days ago.
I’m on and off this health journey—maybe you know the feeling. I was doing well, then my birthday hit in June (shout-out to my Geminis), summer rolled in, and my eating started getting a little… “come see, come saw.” More ordering out. Less routine. And I could feel it—in my body and in my mood.
So today I said, “Nope. We’re resetting.”
I made myself a shake—banana, strawberries, all the good things. And here’s a little time-saving tip if you’re busy: I use those pre-made smoothie packs from the freezer section, add water, and sometimes throw in fresh fruit or celery depending on what I need. The only thing to watch is the sugar—so use wisdom, especially if that’s an area you’re already working on.
Now—here’s the part that took me out.
I took a couple sips, and something told me, “Move it to a safer spot.”
And of course… I didn’t listen.
I adjusted the mic, and that shake went flying. Everywhere. On my knees, cleaning up, getting into the crevices—because we’re not welcoming ants into this season. And while I’m scrubbing, I’m thinking:
This is the message.
Because life does this. You prepare. You get spiritually, mentally, physically ready—and then something spills. Something breaks. Something delays you.
And in that moment, you get a choice:
- You can let it discourage you.
- Or you can let it develop you.
So today, we’re talking about what it means to start over without shame.
To begin again without believing the lie that you’re “behind.”
To remember that you are not competing with time—you’re aligning with purpose.
Because yes, this is the AI age. Yes, things are moving fast. But hear me clearly:
You are the original. AI is a tool—not your replacement.
And for anyone reading who feels tired, delayed, embarrassed, or like life passed you by—this is your invitation to breathe. To release the pressure. To come back home to yourself.
It starts today. Not next Monday. Not next year.
Take a deep breath. Let your shoulders drop. Drink some water. Say a quiet prayer—whatever brings you back to peace.
You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not too late.
You are right on time for your life. xoxo
